POSITION OVERVIEW:
We’re looking for a Technology & Systems Lead to own the platforms, integrations, and data infrastructure that keep our business running. This is a hybrid systems and business-enablement role: you'll manage our ERP, EDI, and broader software stack; build the integrations and automations that connect them; stand up the dashboards and data infrastructure leadership relies on; protect our assets and data through cybersecurity solutions; and serve as the internal go-to systems resource for the Fishwife team across Operations, Sales, Finance, and Marketing. You’ll also be responsible for helping chart the future of the IT environment at Fishwife to fuel our growth.
This is not a traditional IT support role. We need someone with the technical background to be credible across systems, answer questions, remove friction, find the right tool for the job, and quietly make everything work.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Software Implementation & Systems Management
- Own administration of our core business systems, including ERP and EDI environments, configuration, migrations, user access, workflows, and ongoing optimization.
- Manage EDI trading partner relationships end-to-end, including onboarding, document mapping, exception handling, and ensuring reliable order, shipment, and invoice flow.
- Lead software evaluations, implementations, and upgrades from requirements gathering and vendor selection through configuration, testing, training, and go-live.
- Administer SaaS platforms across the company (provisioning, licenses, SSO, security settings) and continuously evaluate the stack for opportunities to consolidate, upgrade, or replace tools.
- Maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, and trading partner specs.
Integrations & Automation
- Build and maintain integrations between business systems (ERP, EDI, WMS, e-commerce, CRM, finance, marketing) using APIs, iPaaS tools, and middleware. Monitor that order and inventory transactions are complete and accurate between systems.
- Identify repetitive or manual workflows across the business and automate them; partner with department leads to scope, prioritize, and deliver automations with measurable impact.
- Build and maintain a centralized data warehouse (or equivalent infrastructure) that consolidates data from across our platforms into a clean, reliable source of truth.
- Stand up and maintain BI dashboards and reporting that give leadership and department heads real-time visibility into the business. Lead data democratization initiatives that empower cross-functional users to access and model data for departmental needs.
