Fishwife is a woman-founded and led food company aiming to make ethically-sourced, premium, and delicious tinned seafood a staple in every cupboard. We source from responsibly managed fisheries and aquaculture farms to bring the vibrance of conservas culture to the North American table. POSITION OVERVIEW:
Fishwife is looking for a creative and analytical Head of Growth Marketing to oversee and manage our growth, retention, and acquisition programs. Reporting directly to the CEO, the Head of Growth Marketing will develop and execute digital marketing and eEcommerce strategies to grow our top line, expand our community and build/retain a highly-engaged audience. The ideal candidate is both right-brained and left-brained – can think big picture and have the ability to execute with great quality in the details.
This is a full-time role. Preference for candidates based in LA, but can be flexible for the right candidate.
HEAD OF GROWTH MARKETING WILL:
- Manage new customer acquisition and retention across social, email/SMS, paid search, affiliate, influencer, subscription, referral, loyalty
- Set and manage our monthly marketing calendar, making sure all platforms (email, SMS, social, paid media) are operating in harmony
- Own and Benchmark all relevant DTC metrics including repeat purchase rates, CAC, AOV, ROAS, LTV and subscriptions
- Work with CEO, growth marketing, and finance teams to develop growth roadmap, allocate budget, monitor spend, and drive top-line revenue
- Own and execute multi-channel growth strategies across DTC, building flywheels across the business, leveraging DTC to drive velocity in retail
- Work closely with the brand team on all acquisition marketing content, providing feedback and direction to make the most effective creative
- Work to continuously optimize web products and features as it relates to growth needs (CRO, SEO/Content Marketing Landing pages, bundles, offers, etc)
- As one of five full-time team members at an early-stage start up, expect to jump in wherever and whenever needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5-7 years of experience in growth marketing
- Exceptional skills in marketing leadership and strategic thinking, with the proven ability to structure a data-driven approach to complex business problems
- Experience in running Facebook and Google
