POSITION OVERVIEW:
As the Growth Marketing Strategist, you’ll lead Fishwife’s D2C growth engine, setting the strategy and driving results across paid channels through rigorous testing. You’ll shape the performance creative, turning insights into standout assets, and elevate conversion across the site and key commerce channels to keep the business moving faster. This is a high ownership role with incredible learning opportunities.
This is a full-time remote role.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Paid Growth Marketing
- Own the strategy, planning, and performance of paid campaigns across key platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, and creator/influencer programs), from budget allocation through optimization
- Report on performance, insights, and learnings, translating results into clear and actionable next steps
- Lead continuous experimentation across ad copy, creative, landing pages, audiences/targeting, and offers to improve ROAS, AOV, and CAC/LTV efficiency
- Identify and test new channels and tactics to unlock incremental growth while maintaining profitability
Creative and Content
- Combine qualitative insights (customer feedback, creator learnings, brand POV) with performance data to guide development and iteration of high-performing creative assets
- Report on creative performance and recommended iterations, aggregating and synthesizing insights across organic, retail, and growth marketing
- Develop strong creator relationships end-to-end: source talent, write briefs/scripts, manage feedback loops, and produce new influencer content that drives performance
- Build and execute a prioritized creative roadmap, taking concepts from brief → script → production → final assets via our UGC agency and affiliate creator network
CRO and Site Management
- Own the site optimization roadmap across the full acquisition funnel (Homepage, Collection Page, PDP, Checkout), including testing strategy and learning agenda
- Improve onsite conversion through new user experiences that strengthen education, engagement, trust, and purchase confidence
- Manage site updates and merchandising across channels (Shopify, TikTok Shop, Goody, Zest), ensuring cohesive execution and a strong end-to-end shopping experience
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years in growth marketing, demand generation, or performance marketing roles marketing DTC products (startup experience preferred)
- Hands-on experience managing paid social channels (primarily Meta and TikTok) with measurable ROI
- Highly analytical with demonstrated ability to use data for problem-solving
- Familiarity with analytics tools (GA4, Looker), CRM platforms, and experimentation tools
- Strong foundation in A|B testing, funnel optimization, and growth experimentation
- Strong logical reasoning, and rigorous in managing campaign performance and outcomes
- Innovative and skilled at idea generation, using the value props of Fishwife to educate and acquire prospective new customers
- Strong written communication skills, both for marketing/funnel copy externally, and to assess and iterate on our plan and results internally
